Aizawl, the 4th April, 2024: Police Observer Shri K. Satyanarayana along with the two Expenditure observers, Shri Arvind Sharma and Smt. Anita Rinesh paid a courtesy visit to Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati at the Raj Bhavan this evening.

In this courtesy meeting, Shri K. Satyanarayana briefed the Governor about the preparedness of the election machinery for the upcoming Lok Sabha MP Election 2024 in the state.

The Governor on his part, assured the observers that there would be free and fair elections, as done exemplarily in the previous elections. He continued by saying that the Mizoram People's Forum(MPF), the largest organisation solely dedicated to ensuring free and fair elections in the state of Mizoram is responsible for supporting the election machineries in the conduct of peaceful elections as they have successfully formulated election ethics which are till now observed, appreciated and supported by the voters in Mizoram. 

The Governor and the observers also discussed other important issues relating to Lok Sabha MP Elections.
