POLL DAY FOR 4-TUIRIAL (ST) AC ENDS WITH 81.29% VOTER TURNOUT

Aizawl the 30th October 2021: 4-Tuirial (ST) Assembly Constituency bye-election today ended with a total voter turn-out of 17,911, standing at a high 81.29%.

The poll for the bye-election started from 7:00 AM this morning till 6:00 PM, where the last hour between 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM was primarily arranged for Covid-19 positive voters. A total of 14,561 votes were polled till closing of the 27 Polling Stations in the Assembly constituency where 7,152 were male voters and 7,409 were female voters. Polling Station with the highest voter turnout was Lungmuat with 90.96% and the least voter turnout Polling Station was Zodin with 29.03%. 34 Covid-19 positive voters cast there vote today under strict Covid SOP protocol.
