Lunglei;the 1st August,2023: Pu Lawmawma Tochhawng, Vice Chairman, HPC Lunglei inaugurated a newly renovated Lunglei Police Station Building(Ground Floor) here in Lunglei town, today.

Lunglei PS building was constructed wayback in 1991 and the building became dilapidated and worn out.Lunglei PS building is a two storey building.

Lunglei High Powered Committee Funded this renovation works, at the tune of Rs.15 lakh for each storey. Rs.15 lakh was released for the year 202-2023 which was being used for renovation of Ground Floor, which was inaugurated today. Fund for 1st Floor renovation is also released for the year 2023-2024 and renovation works will be carried out by Police dept, at their earliest.

In his augural speech Pu Lawmawma highlighted that Lunglei PS managed to bag the Best Police Station of India Award during 2022-2023.It is quite befitting that the building is also renovated to become the best PS building in Mizoram. He applauded the renovation works executed by PS staff with their all out efforts and with a spirit of love and ownership to get the best result. He exhorted them, since they could manage to bag the Best PS Award too, to try for the Best in traffic management in the whole India. He implored PS staff to be friendly and polite all the time, so that the public will not have any hesitation and fear in approaching the Police station in their time of troubles and distresses.

Pu H.Ramthlengliana,IPS,DIG(SR) and Pi Ramdinliani IAS, DC delivered speeches in this function as well.

Pu H.Ramthlengliana,IPS,DIG(SR) informed the gathering public how HPC had helped police dept. time and again since many past years and said that renovation works was just one amongst many. He entreated and reminded the police dept. to pay back many blessings they had received from various quarters by rendering their best services to the society.

Pi Ramdinliani IAS, DC Lunglei heartily congratulated PS staff for their newly renovated building and applauded them for their dedication and hard work put forth in their renovation works and added that it was worth emulating for other depts.

Today’s brief inaugural function was presided over Pu K.Beihmotaosa MPS,Addl.SP Lunglei and Pu Rahool Alwal IPS, SP Lunglei delivered welcome speech,and technical report was given by Pu L.P Zohmangaiha,OC Lunglei PS.
