Dated Aizawl, the 21^st August, 2026: WHEREAS, pursuant to Notification No.B.12011/1/2026-SEC/VC/15 dt. 22.07.2026 issued by the State Election Commission, Mizoram under sub-rule (1) of Rule 3 and Rule 37 of the Mizoram (Election to Village Councils) Rules, 2014 as amended, By-Election to Village Councils within Lunglei, Serchhip & Kolasib Districts was held on 20^th August, 2026 for the purpose of filling up of vacancies of Village Councils seats within the said districts;

AND WHEREAS, the results of the elections in respect of 3(three) Village Councils in the said By-Elections have been declared by the Returning Officers concerned;

NOW, THEREFORE, as provided under sub-rule (3) of Rule 77 of the Mizoram (Election to Village Councils) Rules, 2014, the State Election Commission, Mizoram hereby notifies the names of the elected candidates in respect of the said 3(three) Village Councils, along with their party affiliations, in the SCHEDULE enclosed to this Notification.
