Siaha; the 29th September, 2020: Shri. Kesavan R, IAS Deputy Commissioner, Siaha,today carried out a surprise check on the sole  Petrol and Diesel Pump of Siaha district called Rama Filling Station, located at college Vaih locality in Siaha town.

Shri.Kesavan inspected  if there was any  pilferage of oil by tampering of pump machine and tools. He also checked the quality of underground Oil to  ascertain whether any sort of adulteration  of oil took place or not.

DC also inspected whether the Filling station conform to prescribed guidelines of safety measures.

After thorough inspection, DC expressed his happiness over his findings, and said that Siaha has a filling station  which could withstand a surprise checking.He congratulated proprietor of  Filling station  for  strickly abiding with  Gov't rules and regulations  and coming out triumph in his surprise checking. He also thanked officials of Legal Metrology  dept for keeping strict vigil on filling station, and urged them to keep up their good works, so that no clandestine or illegal activities  in filling station go unnoticed by them. He requested the proprietor of Filling station and  officials of Legal Metrology dept to work in tandem and strive for the best in serving  general public through their respective endeavours.

In his surprise checking assignment, DC was accompanied by Shri.Lalthakima Chhangte,SDC, Shri.R.Lalnghakliana,Asst. Controller,Legal Metrology and Shri. LD.Beihruasa,Inspector, Legal Metrology Dept,Siaha district.
