Kolasib dated 5th September 2022: Jointly organized by the Deputy Commissioner’s Office and District Education Office, Kolasib, Teachers’ Day 2022 was celebrated this morning with students from various schools marching through Kolasib town, holding placards appreciating their teachers.

Kolasib Deputy Commissioner Pu John LT Sanga, while addressing the students on the occasion, said that both the teacher and the student are equally important to build a better society and a better nation. He also emphasized on the significance of obedience and respectfulness towards teachers in order to be successful in life.

The students, accompanied by teachers and representatives from MZP, Kolasib, rallied from Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Vengthar and Banglakawn, chanting slogans lauding their teachers.
