UD&PA Lawngtlai organises waste to art exhibition at Lawngtlai

1st October, 2021: As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) programme, Urban Development & Poverty Alleviation (UD&PA) Department, Lawngtlai organised a waste to art exhibition today at DC's Conference Hall, Lawngtlai.

Eighteen (18) numbers of artists within Lawngtlai District participated in this exhibition. LB Hnialum, Lungtian won the first prize and received Rs 3,000/- in cash. The second prize of Rs 2,000/- went to A. Lalhnehzovi, Lawngtlai Bazar Veng and the third prize of Rs 1,500/- went to Rohmingliani, Lawngtlai Chandmary. The remaining 15 participants were also given a participation prize of Rs 1,000/- each.
