Dated Hnahthial, the 20th December,2024: As part of the ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore,2024’ (Good Governance Week) activities, a ‘Workshop on Good Governance Practices’ was held in Hnahthial District at Hnahthial DC Conference Hall.

The function was chaired by the Addl. DC, Pu Zothanmawia Khiangte and was attended by the Heads of Offices of Hnahthial District. An inauguration speech was delivered by the Deputy Commissioner, Pi Rita Lalnunmawii Pachuau where she stressed on the need of a good Public Grievance Redressal system and Service Delivery for efficient and effective governance. She then urged all the attendees to give due importance to the problems faced by people concerned with their respective departments and to cater to their needs as quickly as possible.

A speech on Good Governance was given by the SDO(Sadar), Pi Esther Leihang where she briefed on its importance and implementation using a powerpoint presentation.

The workshop ended with a Vote of Thanks from the SDC, Pu R. Vanlalruata.
