Aizawl 29th October, 2021: In response to an appeal by Deputy Commissioner Lawngtlai Dr Andrew H. Vanlaldika, Northeast Centre for Equity Action on Integrated Development (NEAID), a non-profit charitable philanthropic organisation based at Guwahati, with support from Crypto Relief India, has provided assistance to DC's office Lawngtlai to augment the capacity of district administration in the fight against COVID-19.

The first consignment containing 57 boxes of medicines, PPEs, masks, hand sanitisers, oxymeters, etc., amounting to around Rs 15,00,000/- (Rupees fifteen lakh) arrived at Lawngtlai today. DC Dr Andrew H. Vanlaldika handed over these relief materials to Chief Medical Officer and three hospitals within Lawngtlai town - District Hospital Lawngtlai, Lairam Christian Medical Centre & Hospital and Christian Hospital Lawngtlai.

Dr Andrew H. Vanlaldika expressed his gratitude to NEAID, Guwahati and Crypto Relief India for their kind generous support and exclaimed that the people of Lawngtlai District would ever remain grateful to them.

Officials from district administration reported that another consignment of relief materials was being expected also from NEAID, Guwahati.
